“Best New Course” . . . as voted by Golf Courses of Texas Magazine Ranked #1 public course in Houston for 2005

A magnificent piece of property, rich in history and natural beauty has been crafted by Tim Nugent and David Ogrin into a truly diverse and extraordinary course. Shot values are emphasized by creating a variety of angles of play and utilizing the natural obstacles throughout the course.
| The Forest Loop: |
| The first six holes wind across natural ravines and through a forest of majestic oaks and towering pine trees, reminiscent of some of the great traditional golf courses in the Houston area. |
| The Pine Barrens Loop: |
| Routed across the upper ridge lines of the property on land once mined for iron ore, these six holes feature large fairway landing areas, sweeping greens and native grass waste areas that invoke images of the pine forested golf courses in the eastern United States. |
| The Signature Loop: |
| The finishing loop of holes offers a combination of elevation changes, deep woods and native areas that provide one of the area’s most scenic and dramatic finishes. The elevated eighteenth green, fronted by a creek and protected by an imposing rock wall, provides a spectacular finishing hole. |
